THE PRIMO SIGNAL COVER
One cover, many advantages
Signal Cover
The Primo Signal Cover
Unlike comparable products, the Primo Universal Plaster Cover is convex to minimise the thickness of the applied plaster on the box. Combined with the signal pin in the signal colour red, the flush mounting box is quickly found.
For clean contours without plaster breakouts, the stable signal cover is pressed in and automatically pops outwards again. Now the cover can be conveniently removed by hand or with the help of the centering hole with a 68 mm holesaw. Due to the standardised size of the flush mounting cover, it is easily attached to all common boxes. The red plaster cover can also be used without any problems when the building site cools down below freezing.
The Primo Signal Cover in action!
Plaster Cover - the signal cover for the flush-mounting box
The plaster cover, which is standardised for all switch boxes, is particularly stable and suitable for repeated use. The signal pins combined with the convex cover reach a height of 2.5 cm. The red signal pins can therefore be found quickly even with a thick plaster layer. The plaster cover can be easily removed by hand or using the centering drill hole with a 68 millimeter diameter drill bit, without the surrounding plaster crumbling.
Universal Plaster Cover UP
Less plaster application due to external curvature, can be used several times

We listen
For each product there is a separate FAQ list with frequently asked questions. We make the collected feedback from our customers and our online community available to you, so that there is really no question left unanswered. We are always happy to receive open feedback, because only in this way can we continuously improve and offer customers what they really want!
We want to make the daily work of electricians easier. We have therefore decided to deviate from the usual design form: EXTERIOR REVOLUTION:
- This minimizes the amount of plaster applied and makes it easier to find the can. Damage caused by hammer blows against the fresh plaster is completely eliminated.
- The lid can be pushed inwards and automatically pops out again. This creates clean contours and the plaster is not damaged
CENTERING HOLE:
- We are the only manufacturer to offer a drill cover that can be milled with a 68 mm standard hollow wall crown.
- The drill bit of a 68 mm drill bit is inserted exactly in the center of the drill hole. This creates a clean edge and eliminates the need for the painter to make adjustments.
SCREW DOME PROTECTION:
- The tabs on the side of the signal cover protect the screw domes from plaster.
- This means that components such as switches or sockets can be installed quickly and without prior cleaning once the plaster has been applied and the cover removed.
The plasterer is responsible for protecting the other trades in accordance with the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures). It keeps windows and doors open. This also applies to Primo flush-mounted boxes. However, it has become common practice for the electrician to take a step towards the plasterer and take care of closing the flush-mounted box. If the electrician did not close the boxes, the plasterer would have to take care of closing, opening and, if necessary, cleaning the boxes. By the way: windows and all sanitary installations are also masked by the plasterer himself and cleaned again if necessary.
Unlike comparable products, the Primo universal plaster lid is curved outwards to minimize the thickness of the applied plaster on the can. Combined with the plaster spring in signal color red, the flush-mounted box can be found more quickly.
Thanks to the standardized size of the flush-mounted cover, it can be easily attached to all standard boxes.
Yes! The standardized shape and sturdy plastic make the plaster cover a reusable helper that fits all standard flush-mounted sockets.
