Uni-Flexx front part for XL 150
More flexibility in concrete construction
UNI-FLEXX FRONT PART FOR XL 150
Retrofitting in ceiling slabs: Uni-Flexx front part for XL 150
Correct planning is crucial in concrete construction, because concrete is unforgiving of mistakes – until now. With the Uni-Flexx you can add spots, loudspeakers or other built-in devices in ceiling slabs that have already been cast. The required core drill hole is much smaller and therefore significantly cheaper than usual. This increases your flexibility on the construction site and saves you a lot of time and money. See for yourself.
The clever trick in concrete construction in action!
The trio for every construction site!
Thanks to the clever design, the Uni-Flexx only requires a small core drilling to retrofit spots or other built-in devices in ceiling slabs. A drill hole of 74 mm is sufficient to make the installation opening. This can be done by any fitter, for example with the Primo Schnellläufer. After the front part has been fixed, the installation housing XL 150 is attached. You now benefit from all advantages that the XL-Series offers. Among other things, conduit entry without tools, absolute concrete-tightness, integrated conduit grip and optimal thermal managemen

All advantages at a glance!
Easy assembly
in just a few steps
1
Drill a 74 mm hole in the ceiling slab. The commercially available Primo High-Speed Driller is suitable for this.
2
If necessary, cut off installation segments to adapt the installation depth to the ceiling thickness.
3
Insert the Uni-Flexx into the drill hole.
4
Drill holes through the mounting brackets…
5
…and attach the Uni-Flexx front part to the ceiling with knock-in anchors.
6
Attach Installation Housing XL 150. The Universal Tunnel can optionally be attached to expand the installation space.
7
Open the membrane with a cutter knife to insert cables and conduits. The system is immediately absolutely concrete-tight and ensures reliable strain relief.
8
Attach the reinforcement and concrete the ceiling.
9
Connect built-in lights and other built-in devices from below and insert them into the 68 mm installation opening.

Which borehole is required for the Uni-Flexx?
A 74 mm drill hole is sufficient to create the installation opening for the Uni-Flexx. This can be done by any installer. The Primo High-Speed Driller with our Concrete Core Bit is ideal for this purpose.
Alternatively, you can drill the hole using a standard 75 mm or 82 mm diameter core bit. The resulting gap between the Uni-Flexx and the hole can either be covered by the device used (ceiling spotlight, speaker, etc.) or can be filled during the planned filling process.
