ARE YOU STILL PLASTERING OR ARE YOU ALREADY FOAMING?
Flush-mounting solutions
Are you still plastering or are you already foaming?
Thermo Boxes, Equipment Carriers & more
What distinguishes the conventional flush-mounting installation from the Primo method?
The first steps are identical: Plan installation, measure and mark drill slots and recesses for boxes, then mill and slit.
Those who save effort, time and money will now use the Primo method! Instead of lugging heavy 25 kilogram bags of plaster, buckets of water and mixers to the building site, the modern installer uses an 80 gram can of Primo Thermo Foam. Instead of mixing plaster several times, one can of foam fixes approximatley 100 boxes without thermal bridges and this absolutely airtight.
THERMO BOX
Airtight, thermal bridge-free, time-saving
The Thermo Box was developed in 2016. Since 2021, it has been starring in an optimised design and as a strong trio for use in thin masonry or as an electronics box – we will equip you completely for your next project!
When updating, we paid attention to the consistent use of the Primo membrane technology. The membranes are located on the back of the box so that all conduits and cables are inserted into the rear part of the box. This leaves enough space in the front area for further processing. More information can be found on our Thermo Box product page.

Thermo Box P775
Quick installation with Thermo Foam, larger installation space for electronic components, cover with second/optional opening at 71 mm combination distance
Old building renovation
The right flush-mounting box for every renovation project
One of the greatest challenges when renovating old buildings is the uncertainty as to which material is hidden behind the visible walls. And with that, of course, the question of which flush mounting box is best suited. With the Primo Thermo Box, this question no longer arises.
FLUSH-MOUNTING DRILLING TEMPLATE
The drilling aid for straight and precise drill holes in masonry
Our Drilling Template for flush mounting boxes presents itself as a practical aid for the drilling of multiple combinations. The integrated spirit level eliminates the need for elaborate measuring or rework. The template is ideal for drilling in aerated concrete, brick, limestone block, heat insulating walls and other masonry.
UNIVERSAL PLASTER COVER
The signal cover for flush-mounting boxes
The convex flush mounting cover, combined with the signal pin in the signal colour red allows the box to be found quickly. The Signal Cover can be conveniently removed by hand or with the help of the centering drill hole with a 68 mm holesaw. With the flush mounting cover, there will be no plaster in the switch box in the future!
EQUIPMENT CARRIER
One cover, many benefits
The installation surface of the Equipment Carrier was designed with various openings. Luminaires and other devices with screws up to 4 mm in diameter can be mounted on the Equipment Carrier without drilling and setting dowels, thus saving time and costs. Let’s not forget, of course, that due to the careful design of the matching Thermo Boxes, all cables and conduits are inserted in the rear part of the box. This guarantees that no cables or conduits are damaged during luminaire assembly.
Primo advantages in everyday work
“At Main Smart Home, we always strive to make life easier for the builder. With our unique DIY concept, we are breaking new ground in electrical engineering. So what could suit us better than the ingenious products from Primo? The products save enormous time during the flush mounting installation and are completely innovative in their handling. For our modern DIY concepts, we need modern manufacturers as suppliers.”
Daniel von Pokrowsky, owner and founder of Main Smart Home
“We installers have no choice but to resort to time-saving products such as Primo’s on the building site, which make us more effective in every way. It’s not just the relatively short deadlines that have to be met; the lack of skilled workers and young talent are obstructing the skilled trades. All of this has to be absorbed in some way so that we can deliver on time and in high quality.”
Andreas Brück, master electrical installer, ETech Electrical Engineering FFM

We are always happy to receive open feedback, because only in this way can we continuously improve and offer customers what they really want!
Well thought out!
Because with some materials, clean drilling is a challenge even for the most experienced professional. The Primo drilling template is just what you need. Measure and mark the first hole, then insert the drilling template, attach it and align it precisely horizontally and vertically using the integrated spirit level. The holes are drilled at standardized intervals in the perfect size. For multiple holes, simply move the drilling template one hole further, align it and continue drilling in no time at all.
Additional treat
All our thermo cans have membrane locking teeth so that inaccuracies in the drill hole are compensated for and the cans are firmly fixed in the drill hole. So Primo makes it child’s play!
If you compare the Primo thermo box with the standard flush-mounted box from the DIY store, then this is correct. But who would compare a Matchbox car with a Porsche?
Primo stands for high-quality premium quality “Made in Germany”, which brings efficiency, time savings and work simplification to the daily work of professionals in the electrical trade. Thanks to the special foaming technology, Primo thermo boxes are installed airtight and without thermal bridges in a matter of seconds.
For example, in contrast to conventional plastering with a bucket of water, stirrer and 25 kg bag of plaster, only one 750 ml can of thermal foam is needed to fix 70 to 100 thermal cans. Foaming itself requires 2 seconds per can compared to 2 – 3 minutes of plastering.
So with Primo:
Invest in good quality, save energy, save time and ensure energy efficiency!
